    The Leica Summarit-S 70mm f/2.5 ASPH CS Lens is a high performance, standard focal length optic. The lens guarantees outstanding contrast and color at all apertures and distances as close as 1.6' (0.5m). The Summarit-S 70mm ASPH (CS) integrated focal plane shutter provides action-stopping flash sync up to 1/500th of a second.

    With a large f/2.5 maximum aperture, the lens provides fine depth-of-field control and outstanding low light performance. The circular shaped aperture offers out of focus characteristics for dramatic portraits with soft bokeh.

    The lens has an integrated screw-type motor provides dependable, fast autofocusing without noise. The photographer can override autofocus at any time by adjusting the wide focus ring.
