The Cambo ACTUS-B is known as the original Actus. Cambo had a long tradition of using DSLR camera bodies as digital backs. When it became clear that Mirrorless would take over, it was time to rethink the concept. It resulted in a view camera with an unprecedentedly small form factor. The Actus-B is portable, making it the ideal companion for landscape and architecture photographers. It adds real view camera technology to your existing camera body, making it a more capable studio tool. Since it's expandable with various longer rails and bellows, it's also great for macro work.
The Cambo ACTAR 80 Lens is a lens for use with Cambo Actus or Actus-MV view cameras, combined with any DSLR or mirrorless camera. The lens is permanently attached to an Actus lens panel and has a focal length of 80 mm, which makes it very suitable for studio and landscape photography. Its light weight and small size also encourage to take it on location. The large image circle of 85 mm allows for horizontal shifts exceeding 20mm to each side when using a full frame (24x36) sensor in either landscape or portrait mode. The optical design of this lens is a 7 element, of which all lenses are multicoated to achieve the best contrast. Please note that the aperture is manual and there are no electronic connections available nor needed.
